Cancellation Policy

Mediterrana Yachts Cancellation Policy​

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility while maintaining fair terms for all bookings. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

​

  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the sailing date: A cancellation charge of 30% of the total fare will apply.

  • Cancellations made 15–30 days before sailing date: A cancellation charge of 60% of the total fare will apply.

  • Cancellations less than 15 days before charter: No refund will be provided (100% cancellation charge applies).

  • Any APA paid will be fully refunded if the charter is canceled before the start date.

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of cancellation notice.

If your original itinerary cannot be completed due to weather, our crew will suggest alternative destinations or routes to ensure you have a memorable experience. Changes to the itinerary due to adverse weather are beyond our control and do not qualify for a refund or compensation.

Cancellations by Us

​

In the event of a cancellation from our end due to situations beyond our control, including but not limited to safety, security, weather conditions, strikes, mechanical breakdowns, or other unexpected issues, guests will be given the option to reschedule. If a guest chooses not to reschedule, they will be compensated accordingly.

Rescheduling & Changes

​

  • More than 30 days before charter start date:

    • Clients may reschedule their charter to a new date within the same season (subject to availability) with no penalty.

​

  • 15–30 days before charter start date:

    • Rescheduling is permitted, but a rescheduling fee of 10% of the charter fee applies.

​

  • Less than 15 days before charter start date:

    • Rescheduling is not guaranteed and will depend on availability. If rescheduling is possible, a fee of 20% of the charter fee will be charged.

  • Any difference in charter rates between the original and new dates must be paid by the client.

  • If the new date is at a lower rate, no refund is given for the difference.

  • Only one rescheduling is permitted per booking.

  • Rescheduled charters must take place within 12 months of the original booking date.

  • All payments and APA already paid will be transferred to the new booking date.
